iPhone In Demand

iPhoneApple today have admitted that the new iPhone, which was released last month is in short supply, due to the overwhelming demand of there new model the 3GS.

Apple have announced they sold 5.2 million iPhones in the quarter, seven times more than last year.

“We are currently unable to make enough iPhone 3GSs to meet robust demand, and we’re working to address this,” said Apple’s chief financial officer Peter Oppenheimer.

Although there is a demand for the iPhone, Apple have not delayed plans to launch the smart phone in 20 countries in August.

What do you think about this?? Are Apple silly for not realising the demand early enough? or do you think Apple could not have done anything??
